Blog 349: Twitter Hate Me

So Monday afternoon, Twitter decided it hated me. It packed up my account and disappeared. :( I checked their known issues board and it seems that many accounts have up and gone rouge on them and they are trying to fix the glitch. So know I can't log in, can't get my tweet fix... Its so sad and unfortunate. I worked hard to get my account where it was!

  7. Dear Sinnamon,

I'm sorry, I know this isn't the right place to post this but I couldn't find any other contact info for you out there!

I just wanted to say that I appreciated the way you represented for the sex industry today on the Tyra show. Beyond the fact that you were eloquent and calm, I really wanted to thank you for not being mean to any of the other women! I felt that the whole set up of the show was basically them trying to get all of the women to attack eacho ther, it was painful to watch as a sex worker myself. There is enough hate out there for women in the industry, it was horrible the way that they were pitting you all against each other. Again, you really held it together though and didn't play their game- you rocked it!

In case you're not aware, there are a lot of sex workers who are working together towards human rights for all sex workers- including ending social stigma, getting better non judgmental healthcare, and an end to legal persecution. Some of the amazing veterans of the movement are Annie Sprinkle, Scarlott Harlott, and Carol Queen among many others. I'm sure you already knew that but I just wanted to let you know just in case.

Also, if you ever want to read stuff written for and by sex workers you should check out Bound, Not Gagged the sex worker's rights blogsite www.deepthroated.wordpress.com or $pread Magazine.

    Thanks again!
    T
