Blog 317: Tyra Banks Show Appearance - Monday, Nov. 17th, 2008

Be sure to set your DVRs or Tivos on Monday to record my appearance on the Tyra Banks Show. The show was a 2 day social experiment featuring 7 women from different aspects of the sex industry, including a Porn Star, Magazine Model, Webcam Girl, Stripper, Escort, Bunny Ranch Girl and Street Prostitute - designed to discover how we view one another and our hierarchy within the industry. Go to TyraShow.com to view the commercial currently running to get an idea of what the show is about. Just click on Monday's Show titled "PornTown."

I will say this, while I have no idea how they are going to edit the show for viewing, the experiment itself has the potential for being kinda cool. I can't give you anymore details on the nature of the experiment itself until after the show airs... but definitely watch the show to prepare for discussion afterwards!

Blog 313: Now that change is coming...

Yesterday was an amazing day. Every moment of the day, from brushing my daughter's hair in the morning to standing in line for an hour discussing local propositions on the ballot to casting my ballot for my candidate... I went through my day with a hesitant joy in my heart that I haven't felt in a long time. Even when my 11 year old daughter came home and told me that her friend Sarah told her that her parent's were "voting for McCain because he was a Christian and her dad read on a website that Obama thought killing babies was cool," I didn't falter... instead I used the opportunity as a teaching moment, and explained what an abortion is, when the law and doctor's consider a baby to be able to live outside the mom, what it means to be pro-choice, what it means to be pro-life, and why I am pro-choice. I explained to her all the various reasons why a woman might chose to have an abortion; due to age, poverty, drug use, rape, incest, or threat to the mother's life... I used her friends that at 11 years old as an example, explaining that if a girl has had her first menstral cycle, and has sex - by choice or by force, that she can get pregnant... and asked if she could imagine herself or her friends having a baby... I made sure she was armed with all the information, and understood that being pro-choice does not equate being pro-abortion. I explained that the other side quotes God, and religion and life itself as reasons for a woman not having an abortion... In asking her afterwards what she thought about the issue, she made me proud saying, "I think a woman shuld be able to chose whether they have a baby or not." I am estatic that when given the information, she was able to formulate her own opinion.

As she started homework, I made dinner, and watched my candidate quickly win state after state, sweeping the entire North East as polls closed. I picked up a couple bottles of champagne from Trader Joes before heading over to Diana Devoe and John E. Depth's house to watch the rest of the election coverage -feeling excited, nervous, and anticipating some sort of trickery from the Republican right... When we took Pennsylvania, followed by Ohio, I knew, I just knew.. that we were well on the way. When we took Florida, I was in disbelief... Then finally, amongst good friends and new ones, I heard Jon Stewart become dead serious and say the following words...

"At 11 o'clock at night, Eastern Standard Time, The President of the United States, is Barack Obama."

..

My hands went to my mouth, I stood in the middle of the room, in shock for a few moments. Suddenly, the whole room cheered... We had did it. We spoke out collectively. 63 million people across the United States stood together in voting booths across this coutnry and said, "No More." We stood for change, we stood for justice, we stood for racial equality, we stood for social advancement... We stood together and decided that we had to chose a President that is intelligent, charismatic and decisive, someone we could be proud of as he faces the rest of the world leaders with a calm, respectful reserve.

We Won.

I gathered my daughter from playing video games online in the back room and brought her out to celebrate with us. I wanted her to listen to her President speak for the first time... After all, he is the one that will insure that she has a better healthcare system, and affordable college education, and alternative sources of fuel and most importantly that she doesn't inherit this multi-trillion dollar debt created by 16 years of Reuplican rule. She leaned in my arms as we heard President-elect Obama speak to his constituents.

As a child born in the month that the Watergate tapes were being subpeonaed and educated completely under the Reagan-Bush administration, I am excited that my daughter will grow up in the era where she will have a Black woman in the White House as a role model and a President that sincerely feels passionate about education and heathcare.. so she won't have to go into debt with student loans trying to achieve a higher education or have to contemplate filing bankruptcy should she be found to have a pre-existing medical condition not covered by her insurance.

I'm looking forward to the shift of power in not just in the White House, but in the Senate and House of Representatives as well - as this promises that My President will actually be able to get necessary bills passed to fulfill the reforms he has promised. He has a rough road ahead of him... as he said last night, it won't be easy, but I have faith that he is up to the challenge.

Last night was a joy, but this morning was a bit more somber. I spoke to my stepfather, who he told me a story about his father being jumped by 8 white men after he told them they were putting the wrong part on his car... because in their words, "No nigger was supposed to know more than a white man." I listened to this strong man that helped shape my life cry for the first time... and wondered, what would my father have thought of this amazing election and its overwhelming results. My mother told me of hanging off the back of a trolley car because Blacks weren't allowed at the front of the car, and my heart, my Man, who told me of being in a double stroller with his twin sister going to civil rights rallies and marches with his parents.

Today I have listened to the arguements that Barack is not Black but biracial, only to counter with the fact that in this country, the one that created the "one drop rule," this great man, Barack Obama, has and always will be viewed as a Black Man - regardless of his accomplishments. Even when he became the head of the Harvard Law Review, he was the first Black man to hold such a position... So despite his being born to a White mother and raised by his White grandparents, despite our hopes and dreams of a world less divided by race, despite this deserving accomplishment he made yesterday, he will always be known as our nation's first African-American President.

In his acceptance speech, though he never mentioned the issue of his race, the change he alluded to was filled with it. Today, I finally shed tears while I viewed photos on The Huffington Post of the worldwide celebration of news of his election and all of the covers of newspapers and magazines featuring his handsome, debonair face, I cried. And cried. I have yet to call one of the most important figures in my life today... my grandmother. I want to hear her stories and what she has to say about this historic day.

I have been moved... I hope that his mere presence will inspire young Black men to get their shit together, to aspire for greatness and know that anything is possible, that dreams can be achieved. I hope that our country will not look at him as a savior, but as a man that hopes to invoke change - but will need our help. I know he will need time, I know he can't fix this mess we are in in one term. I know he will be great...

I know you all have seen this acceptance speech, but I just had to post it here for you all to appreciate. My heart is filled today, my hope has been renewed, and my love and faith towards each and every one of you is restored.

I'm hoping to attend the Swearing In Ceremony on January 20th, MLK's Birthday and the 100 year anniversary of the NAACP to watch my first, true President ascend the stairs built by slaves to take his oath of office. Its going to be a coastly event, but I might just have to forego AVN this year to make it happen...

love, Sinnamon

Blog 310: NYC Day 2: Last Night Roots @ Roseland/ John Legend Release Party

How many OKP went to last night's show? It was truly hotness...
Highlights:

* Estelle jumping on stage to sing "You got me" with the band
* Kirk's guitar solo leading out of that into Sweet Child of Mine, Bad to the Bone, and a Led Zepplein joint.
* Q-Tip hopping on stage
* Mos Def rocking the mic

I attended the show with my girl Ivory from Road Rules, Sara Jay and Loni Mallory.

Left the show and joined Ivory at the John Legend release party. One word: Decadent. 4 more words: Dom P Open Bar. Yah... After having 3 bombay sapphire and cran's at the concert, I was not prepared for the 2 glasses of champagne that followed. Luckily I don't get hang overs or that could have been ugly. :)

Left the party a little early and headed over to Socialista, a little bar not far from the John Legend joint with a new friend... Got into a deep political convo with the promoter and friends about Barack, McCain and the whole bullshit that is ahead of us.

I still heart NY.

Now I'm off to a shoot in fricken Yonkers. :( I just want to mill around in bed all day... but such is life. Later this evening its a meeting with BET.com about a possible column then over to the Busta joint. :)

Blog 309: Tyra Day 1/ Hip Hop Heaven

So day one of the Tyra Show was fucking awesome. The contrat we signed prevents me from blogging, (guess they should have said something about that BEFORE I went on the show to preempt the blogger in me...) I will say this, they will have to do some REALLY creative editing to make me look like a sleaze bag, know nothing... The girls were all cool, and I am actually looking forward to Thursday where we actually meet Tyra and do her show. I just want to see how she is going to try to twist my words, like she usually does when porn people are on... or if she is going to let me be me.. proud, intelligent and cool. :)

After we finished taping last night, I went on Lip Service on Shade 45 along with Juelz Santana, Skull Gang and Rabbit from Real Chance at Love, then headed down to the Bowery Hotel to Q-Tip's release party for "Renaissance." First, Ladies, let me say that Q-Tip is SO fine!! And Kevin Liles is a cutie. :) I met up with my boy Craig G (from the legendary juice crew,) snuck past the red carpet (my top wouldn't stay up and I was trying to avoid a wardrobe malfunction on camera,) had 3 bombay sapphire and cranberry, and felt like I was in hip hop heaven. Everyone was there... Kweli, Mark Ronson, Nas, it was like a dream to be in the company of all these amazing people. It took Tip almost 30 minutes to name off all the legends and artists that attended last night. It was so cute, funny almost... as people would be talking to Craig, notice me, and ask if I was who they thought I was. It was clearly, awesome being fawned over all night by my adoring celebrity fans. One guy approached and said we'd chatted on BGOL before, and another guy asked to take a picture with me, making me blush and Craig die laughing...

Tonight's The Roots/ Gym Class Heros at Roseland, tomorrow I'm shooting for a local big butt site, then checking out Busta at the Knitting Factory.

All I can say is... I heart NY.

Blog 305: Colin Powell Endorses Obama!

In recently weeks, The Washington Post, The NY Times, and many other important figures in the political field have endorsed Sen. Obama. Now, Mr. Colin Powell has also brings his support of Obama. THIS MAKES ME VERY HAPPY! His breaking from his party is not unique, but does show that the GOP is on a losing streak with many of their constituents. His view on Palin, McCain, the robocalls re: Roy Ayers, the attempted connection to Islam, and even the impending right wing appointment to the Supreme Court shows me that I too have the right candidate in mind.

Enjoy this video of Colin Powell's endorsement on Meet The Press and the corresponding article on the Huffington Post.

I can't get the video to embed, so enjoy the video on the The Huffington Post.

Blog 304: On Losing Weight

This year has been a rough one, I gained 30 pounds in 6 weeks for some medication my therapist had me .. switching me to something else, the weight was still really difficult to lose. Luckily, all the weight went to my hips, thighs and ass... Everyone has loved the increase in size of my ass, but honestly, the weight gain was a little too much for me. When I realized I was slightly over my BMI I knew it was time to do something about it.

Two weeks ago, I went to a med spa recommended by my agent, Lisa Ann to see Dr. Franco for medical weight loss. Dr. Franco is awesome! He put me on this strict Keto-genic diet and prescribed me Plegine, a prescription appetite suppressant. Plegine doesn't contain caffeine, but it definitely curbs my appetite! I am thrilled to announce that so far, I have lost 5 pounds. :) I'll be happy when the remaining offending 25 pounds are gone so I can fit into my tiny clothes again! :) The diet drives me nuts because I am a carb-addict... But I am trying to be good. Its tough, But I'll work it out.

I was a bit resistant to the Keto-genic diet because I know the damage that a diet high in protein and low in carbs can do to the body. You NEED carbs for energy. And while protein does turn to ketones and can create enough energy to run on, who wants the bad breath and skin odors that are caued by ketonacidosis?! I am allowed fruit at breakfast, but after that, only 30g of carbs for the rest of the day. Its hard for me, the cupcake queen, to give up carbs, but I'm happy to do whatever it takes to lose the weight!

I am supposed to also do 30 minutes of cardio or 5 minutes of jump roping every other day to speed up the process and lose an extra 2 pounds a week... I just have to find the frigging time! I got a Wii fit from one of my fans a couple of months ago, but my daughter plays it more than I do... let's just say, I'm fucking lazy. :) Lol!

I will keep you guys updated on the weight loss progess and if possible, go back to uploading recipes when I can like I used to...

Cross your fingers for me that this weight will continue to just melt off me!

Blog 301: Politics as usual...

I was surfing the general discussion board one of my favorite sites, Okayplayer and came across a thread about the upcoming elections and the propositions on the ballots. I will admit, I have been so busy lately I've barely had time to do laundry let alone go over the thick booklet that covers all the proposals on the ballot... but there are a few that I feel rather passionate about.

So... I thought I'd share my thoughts and ask fellow Californians their opinions along with reasons why they will vote the way they will this November. If you are not in California, what important issues are going to be on your ballots this year?

First off, I am voting for Obama/ Biden. I believe in Obama and the change he is inspiring. After listening to him and Biden during the debates so far, I have been reassured that my reasons for voting for them are valid. The mudslinging that the McCain campaign is so transparent that it truly laughable. The dismissive way Obama said, "That's wrong John," to the elder senator's insistance that Obama would raise taxes on small businesses made me smile. I love that he actually answered questions and laid out plans of actions for healthcare and pulling our country out of the economic crisis we are in. He's so calm yet passionate, and comes off as so sincere in the things he offers.

I'm not saying that Obama is the second coming or anything like that... He's a politician, I know he's playing the game right now to get my vote. And yet, I feel confident when I hear him speak. I know that he can't bypass congress and the senate to get his bills passed, but I do believe him in his desire to turn this country around and help the middle class get a fair shake.

So... he has my vote.

More importantly, there are a few local issues that my state is voting on that I think deserve examination.

PROP 4: WAITING PERIOD AND PARENTAL NOTIFICATION BEFORE TERMINATION OF MINOR'S PREGNANCY.

This terrifies me. I'm a bit confused how to feel about this bill. I want girls that are scared to tell their parents (due to violence in the home, abuse, incest, etc.) to still be able to get abortions if necessary... but honestly, I would want to know if my daughter wanted to get one. I feel confident my girls would feel they could come to me, but I know that not everyone has the ideal home situation/ relationship with their parents.

I would hate to think that some young girl would be forced to have a baby by her ultra-religious/ conservative/ domineering parent that is on some "oh, you gone have THAT baby..." and have her future irrevocably wiped out as a result. Or be beaten to death. Its hard because I really need to read the entire proposal. I mean, is there a provision for the minor to go to the courts with due evidence as to why they need the abortion and can not seek parental consent? If so, what would the girl have to present as evidence? Would the girl be appointed a social worker or lawyer free of charge to cover court costs in order to go before a judge? I'll likely vote No on this prop just because I doubt seriously if it lends to the "what ifs" that I can dream of...

PROP 8: ELIMINATES RIGHT OF SAME–SEX COUPLES TO MARRY.

Hell no. I wouldn't want someone to take my rights away from me, so why do that to someone just because they are gay? I'm voting NO.

PROP 3: CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BOND ACT. GRANT PROGRAM.

Voting Yes. As a parent, and having had a younger sibling hospitalized and placed in a coma due to a brain aneurysm several years ago, I have seen how hard these hospitals work first hand. They need all the help and funding they can get!

PROP 5: NONVIOLENT DRUG OFFENSES. SENTENCING, PAROLE AND REHABILITATION.

I have to do a little more reading up on this proposition, but so far, I think I'm voting yes. Main points:

* Limits court authority to incarcerate offenders who commit certain drug crimes, break drug treatment rules or violate parole.
* Substantially shortens parole for certain drug offenses; increases parole for serious and violent felonies.

I think that people that are arrested for minor drug offenses like possession, or drug use should not be sentenced the same as traffickers. Like I said, I have to read up a bit more on this however to make an informed decision.

PROP 1A: SAFE, RELIABLE HIGH-SPEED PASSENGER TRAIN BOND ACT.

Anyone that knows anything about LA traffic knows that it sucks! Public transportation is horrible because Los Angeles is so spread out. I know that this bill will affect more than just Los Angeles, but I think anything that can ease the horrible traffic here has to be a good thing.

With the pending elections only a few weeks away, what will you be voting for, and why?

If you'd like to check out the propositions on the CA ballot, view them at the California Voter Guide

Bangin' Black Boxes
Reviewed by: Eddie Adams

Reviewed In: January 2008
Director: Manuel Ferrara
Cast: Brown Suga, Candice Nicole, Jada Fire, John Strong, Kaylani Cream, Manuel Ferrara, Melrose Foxxx, Michael Stefano, Sinnamon Love

Category: Gonzo
Running Time: 208 Min.

Manuel Ferrara (either in front of or behind the smut lens) and hot sex scenes are beginning to become as analogous as pornography and erections. When the seemingly can-do-no-wrong Ferrara set out to do a gonzo feature with all-ebony starlets, he clearly wasn't fucking around. Bangin' Black Boxes is two discs full of break-neck fuck footage and gorgeous chocolate women.
The curvy Sinnamon Love must have been a very bad girl. Her muscular opener alternates between a gyrating floor romp with Ferrara and a four-guy circular blowbang. Love, acting as a surefire cum receptacle, is rewarded for all her hard dick work with a shivering orgasm while Ferrara plunges her tailpipe. Love's lovefest can be summed up by her mid-coital request, "I need more cum."
The flawless Candice Nicole has a tattoo across her shapely ass that reads "Rich Booty." From the looks of it (her ass), it's a great moneymaker. We only just get acquainted with Nicole and her large behind before Ferrara pans away to show the voluptuous Brown Suga as double penetration couch bait. The resulting foursome, with John Strong and Michael Stefano jumping in for penile support, is interracial magic.
Jada Fire, an incredible female specimen, does some of her best work with Ferrara's dick inside her. Their poolside (and then every room in a spacious house) bone is a heavy hitter: one of the strongest the title has to offer.
Ferrara introduces Kaylani Cream to John Strong and a fire engine red dildo. The trio gets along smashingly. Always ready to assist a lady in distress, the horny helmer steps in when Cream decides she needs two dicks inside of her.
The director's one-on-one finale with Melrose Foxxx maintains the intensity of its predecessors. Ferrara gives her the tip drill and then a nice semen moustache.
Pre-noms: Best Interracial Release. Best Couples Sex Scene: Jada Fire and Manuel Ferrara.

Retailing: Ferrara rocks an interracial jam that holds up with best of 'em.

Chemistry 4: The Orgy Edition
Reviewed by: Jared Rutter

Reviewed In: June 2008
Director: Tristan Taormino
Company: Vivid Entertainment Group
Cast: Adrianna Nicole, Evan Stone, Johnny Sins, Mark Michaels, Patricia Johnson, Penny Flame, Sinnamon Love, Tristan Taormino, Tyler Knight

Category: Gonzo
Running Time: 205 Min.

Tristan Taormino scores again with this new double-disc edition of her AVN Award-winning series. A fresh gang of porn stars fuck their brains out and discuss their work during a long slumber party.

This "Orgy Edition" does have group scenes — an orgy ensues almost immediately, lacking only Johnny Sins, who arrives late — but the most incendiary sex comes in the one-on-one face-offs.

Arguably the best group action happens when Johnny finally shows up. Sinnamon Love, the veteran black actress, gives him a messy b.j. Adrianna Nicole and Evan Stone pair off and the two couples fuck side by side. Sinnamon begs Sins to fuck her harder — the chemistry between them is really strong — then they switch partners and Adrianna gets off too.

Penny Flame wakes up the next morning and reveals how much she wants to fuck Sins — her "goal for the day." Their scene is very intense with a good simultaneous exchange of oral favors.

Stone shaves his legs and his asshole in the Jacuzzi. Adrianna helps, then blows him, and they too have a passionate tryst with her literally bending over backward during 69.

It's nice to see Sinnamon, who says she's been in porn her entire adult life, in a class production. She's still adorable, as well as articulate and intelligent. Stone's clowning keeps things lively, but he also makes sharp, insightful comments about himself and the others.

A session with Tantric sex teachers Mark and Patricia makes for an amusing contrast between the devout Tantrists and the laidback, mildly interested porn stars. Penny chokes up talking about how much the couple love each other. It's one of many revealing moments.

Retailing: Both male and female customers will respond well to this engrossing package.

feeling me out
to see what He'd done wrong
not understanding

It was NOTHING He did
that i simply LOVE him too

equally
strongly
with all my heart
forever.

and yet another has walked in the door
He left open
when He went away
to Trinidad
and India...

while He made the Dali Lama laugh
HE was making me laugh...
while He was loving life
HE was loving me...

no anomosity
just LOVE
enough to understand its time...
for new LOVE to grow.

I didn't mean to betray myLove
in fact myHEART is still pure.

I have to chose.

Blog 287: Fetishes on Tyra Banks Show Today

I recieved the following email from the owner of the Footnight Parties:

Hey All!

Here's a great heads-up from our resident Industry Guru Steven M.. Thanks Steve!

Today. Thursday May 8th, Tyra Banks is going to have an episode that's dedicated to various fetishes, including tickling, trampling. muscle worship and more.
It features Tommy and Tasha of the TickleAbuse site doing some F/M tickling (the guy gets tickled, unfortunately) and Footnight's good friend Floor (the Human Floor) who talks about his love for trampling and gets trampled by 15 to 20 barefoot ladies. Here's the link to a preview and more info about this episode...

Thanks again for the info Steven_M.

Enjoy!
Steve Savage

So I went to the Tyra Show Siteand found this:

"How Freaky Are We?"

Just how freaky are you? After receiving an overwhelming response to previous guests' "squashing" fetish videos, Tyra investigates other sexual fetishes. First she speaks with a man who goes wild for incredibly muscular women, and the bodybuilder who earns $500 an hour to let him feel and kiss her muscles. Then, a couple reveals how they use tickling as foreplay. Later, Tyra speaks to a man who loves when women step all over his body -- including his face! He even asks 15 audience members to stand on him at the same time. Finally, a woman confesses why she enjoys dressings up as a little girl and wearing diapers.

Blog 279: Thank goodness for email!

I hate email forwards... but this one was too important to pass up! And a special thank to Kitten for forwarding this to me. I hope you all read this and pass it on... so you too can help out the cause! ;-)

~*~ Sinny ~*~

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the email about poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258th time.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa’s novena is going to grant my every wish.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day

Thanks to someone, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an email to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

Jesus loves me and will prove it in 5 days when something should have appeared on my monitor. Maybe it was because I didn’t send the money to his PO Box for the special blessing.

Because of someone’s concern I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer can buy gasoline without taking someone along to watch the car so that a serial killer won’t crawl in my back seat when I’m pumping gas.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put ’Under God’ on their cans.

I no longer use saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.

I no longer have a religion because I didn’t forward a prayer wheel to 7 friends.

And thanks to the e-mail buddy who let me know I can’t! Boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face...disfiguring me for life.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or FedEx since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer shop at Target since they are French and don’t support our American troops or the Salvation Army.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , Uganda , Singapore , and Uzbekistan .

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their recipe.

Thanks to somebody, I can’t use anyone’s toilet but mine because a big brown African spider may be lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites me.

And thanks to someone’s great advice, I can’t ever pick up $5.00 I dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.

I can no longer drive my car because I can’t buy gas from certain gas companies!

If you don’t send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 7 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 PM this afternoon and the fleas from 12 camels will infest your back causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor’s ex-mother-in-law’s second husband’s cousin’s beautician...

Have a wonderful day....

Oh, by the way.....

A South American scientist from Argentina , after a lengthy study, has Discovered that people with insufficient brain activity read their e-mail with their hand on the mouse.

Don’t bother taking it off now, it’s too late.

Blog 278: 1973 Baby.. yah!

If you’re under the age of 15...you shouldn’t even read this,
and if you do, you should not repost this.

Just because you were born in ’97 doesn’t mean you’re a 90’s kid.

It’s not like you could remember the original Simpsons.
I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90’s just wont cut it.

You’re a 90’s kid if:

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain
-AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
-Rockos modern Life.
-Animaniacs
-Gargoyles

-Double Dare

-Land of the gnomes (you only watched when you stayed home from school)

-Beackman’s world

-Fraggle Rock

-Pee Wee’s Playhouse

Darkwing Duck

-Alvin and the Chipmunks

You’ve ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "In west Philadelphia born and raised . . ."

You remember:
-Step by Step
-Family Matters!!!
-Dinosaurs
-Boy Meets World!!!!

-Clarissa Explains it all

-Saved by the Bell

-Blossom

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not

When everything was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or
-ms. mary mack

when kick ball was a daily activity.

when we used to obey our parents

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You remember The Original Game Boy.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America’s Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching:
-The Magic School Bus
-Wishbone
-Reading Rainbow
-and Ghostwriter on PBS

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.
You remember those Where’s Waldo books.
You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum.

You remember watching:
-the 1st Batman
-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-ghost busters

You remember Ring Pops.

If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!"

You remember boom boxes .vs. cd players.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs" :)

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

one word. . . . . . . .trolls.

Windows 95 was the best.

You watched the original cartoons of
-Rugrats
-Wild Thornberry’s
-Power Rangers
-Rocket Power.

All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Carebears

Lambchop’s song never ended.

Silver dollars, which were cool to have.

Nickelodeon Gak

Everyone watched the WB.

The home alone tape recorder.

If you even know what an original walkman is.

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" . . . enough said

You went to McDonald’s to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground.

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .
Before the Internet & text messaging . . .
Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .
Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . .
Before Spongebob . . .
Before Tupac was shot.
When light up sneakers were cool.
When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When gas was $0.95 a gallon.
When we recorded stuff on VCRs.
You had slap bracelets!
You Actually played outside until it was dark!

Way back.

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.

Post this in your bulletin if you remember these days . . . .

Post with the year you were born.

Blog 277: Come see me at the Rouge!

If you’ve ever wanted to see me dance or meet me in person, you should come see me dance tonight at the Rouge Gentlemen’s Club in Van Nuys on Raymer. I’m not featuring tonight, but instead, I’ve decided that I need to brush up on my dance skills. :) So this will give all my local and visiting fans and opportunity to come see me on the weekends to play. :) I will be starting tonight, and will be at the club Thursdays-Sundays when I’m in town, (and not shooting,) from 10pm-Until? The club closes at 4am on the weekends... but unless I’m having a blast, I won’t be there those hours. The club is sweet to work with XXX Film Stars and not require us to dance on a schedule, but my understanding is that there are lots of porn stars on the weekend... so if I’m not there, or if my dance card is full, you will have lots of others to play with!

So again, tonight:

Blog 272: I Will Hunt You Down ;-)

Omigod.. The return of a true diva. I love Mariah Carey. She never fails... not once. Her music is always on point, that "I'm a girl and I love it," attitude that comes across in all her music and interviews. The overt sexuality that just drips from her pours...

"She contains more sex in her pinky finger than most women have in their entire bodies over a fertile 4 year period." -Loving Jezebel (1999) (Hill Harper's character re: the sultry, Trini girl Mona.)

She's done it yet again with this hot new single. I hate the radio, but was fortunate to be listening today on my drive to the doctor's office and caught this little tune that stuck in my head. I love how she talks about current celebsluts and the rise of celeb porn videos... "If there's a camera up in here its leaving when I do," and tells her lover blatantly, "If you talk about this secret rendezvous I will hunt you down..." Needless to say, I hope the rest of the album is just as entertaining... :)

Yah, your Hip Hop Goddess has a cheesy sentimental pop side too... ;-)

TOUCH MY BODY
(Mariah Carey - C. Tricky Stewart - Terius "The-Dream" Nash)

MC, you're the place to be
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

I know that you've been waiting for it
I'm waiting too
In my imagination I'd be all up on you
I know you got that fever for me
Hundred and two
And boy I know I feel the same
My temperature's through the roof

If there's a camera up in here
Then it's gonna leave with me
When I do (I do)
If there's a camera up in here
Then I'd best not catch this flick
On YouTube (YouTube)
'Cause if you run your mouth and brag
About this secret rendezvous
I will hunt you down
'Cause baby I'm up in my bidness
Like a Wendy interview
But this is private
Between you and I

Touch my body
Put me on the floor
Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed
I just wanna make you feel
Like you never did.
Touch my body
Let me wrap my thighs
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body
Know you love my curves
Come on and give me what I deserve
And touch my body.

Boy you can put me on you
Like a brand new white tee
I'll hug your body tighter
Than my favorite jeans
I want you to caress me
Like a tropical breeze
And float away with you
In the Caribbean Sea

If there's a camera up in here
Then it's gonna leave with me
When I do (I do)
If there's a camera up in here
Then I'd best not catch this flick
On YouTube (YouTube)
'Cause if you run your mouth and brag
About this secret rendezvous
I will hunt you down
'Cause baby I'm up in my bidness
Like a Wendy interview
But this is private
Between you and I

Touch my body
Put me on the floor
Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed
I just wanna make you feel
Like you never did.
Touch my body
Let me wrap my thighs
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body
Know you love my curves
Come on and give me what I deserve
And touch my body.

Imma treat you like a teddy bear
You won't wanna go nowhere
In the lap of luxury
Baby just turn to me
You won't want for nothing boy
I will give you plenty
Touch my body

Touch my body
Put me on the floor
Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed
I just wanna make you feel
Like you never did.
Touch my body
Let me wrap my thighs
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body
Know you love my curves
Come on and give me what I deserve
And touch my body.

Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah
Oh yeah oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh yeah
Touch my body...

Blog 270: Time to make the cupcakes!

Yes, while you guys were sleeping, I was up baking cupcakes for the princesa's 5th grade class. 3 dozen cupcakes aren't an easy task... but as usual, I was up for the challenge.

Photobucket

These Valentine's Day cupcakes aren't from scratch, but are semi-homemade... my secret for making a huge batch of cupcakes on last minute notice. I used Pillsbury Moist Strawberry cake mix, (*Use Olive Oil for a light, moist taste.) The frosting is made with 3 cups of powdered sugar, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, 1/2 cup of butter, 3-4 tbsp of milk.

Photobucket

To spice up the cupcakes, lightly dust either the entire top or the the edges of the cupcake with red candy sugar/sprinkles. I prefer the edges. Then add 2 candy conversation hearts to the center of the red sugar to top it all off.

Photobucket

Another secret... I always stop by the bakery at the local grocery store to pick up clear plastic cupcake containers. My experience has been that at Ralph's grocery store (in Los Angeles,) they will give me the containers for free. However at Von's grocery (also in LA,) they charge $1.00 per container. There are companies that sell those tupperware like containers for cupcakes, but they are much heavier.

So there you have it... My contribution for a day full of Love.

Blog 269: Masochisitic Tendencies

I wish I could explain to you what makes me run so…
Much like Carrie and Big
I am addicted to the pain of the unattainable.
I masochistically open myself up to the possibilities
Of every situation that seems plausible to my beating heart.
I can't move slowly
I don't know how to take my time
To let relationships simmer
To see where they lead…
Naively & juvenile as it may seem
When it feels good to me,
I let it.
Like a schoolgirl blindly following a crush
And imagining it to be something more than it really is…
I give myself wholly to each experience
Even if it means enduring pain later
Leaving me sobbing on the floor of my closet
Trying to prevent anyone else from hearing my anguish.
Even if it means that it only lasts
a few days
a few months
a few years…

Pain is an acceptable consequence
Of such a divine lesson
That only God could endorse.
I recommend that everyone fall madly in love
If only for a few moments
Just once.
To experience what lust
And anger
And pleasure
And sadness
And joy
And loss feels like.
Without these experiences
How can we possibly grow as humans?
My heart has been given to fewer than my body.
And despite fear and hurt
I would do it all over again
Every single time.
From the first boy
That rode me on the back of his moped
To the one today that breaks my heart
every time he walks out my door…
I love them all, still.
That love is what makes me who I am
Strong enough to walk away
Yet even stronger to stay when I want to run.
And today, I feel the same feelings
That will eventually lead to doubt
And fear and questionable regret.
But I dive head-first anyway
Hoping to learn something about myself
When this whole debacle has ended.

The Freudian slips he makes
When we speak
The way he touches me
Like some lust driven apparition in his absence…
Makes it all worthwhile.
I can only hope to one day become his muse.
To have sonnets and characters played out on screen
In memorium
Of a Love unrequited.
Of a life lived fully and unconditionally…
As I will give him what I have given every man before him

Everything I am.

Regardless of whether he responds in kind
It matters not…
Because I will have done my part
To have give Love
To have shared Love
To have been Love
To have given the gift of freedom
And peace
And restored order
And confidence
In a Man worth having.

Even if he takes that lesson elsewhere.

In that confession alone,
I know that this is the real thing.
This is a Man I will Love.
Even if for a day
For a month
For a year…

And I tearfully, happily accept that duty.

Blog 266: 525,600 Minutes

Seasons of Love Lyrics - (Rent Soundtrack)

COMPANY
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure,
measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In
inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes - how do you
measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love. Seasons of
love.

SOLOIST 1
525,600 minutes! 525,000 journeys to plan. 525,600 minutes - how can you measure
the life of a woman or man?

SOLOIST 2
In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried. In bridges he burned, or
the way that she died.

COMPANY
It's time now to sing out, tho the story never ends let's celebrate remember a year in the life of friends. Remember
the love! Remember the love! Remember
the love! Measure in love. Seasons of love! Seasons of love.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Hope everyone's year has started with some reflection so that this year is filled with life, love and friendships... that yield more than the year before. :)

Love, Sinn

this is dedicated...

fuck it.

you know who you are.

"It's all right for a woman to be, above all, human. I am a woman first of all." - Anais Nin

"Some Unholy War" ~ Amy Winehouse

If my man was fighting
Some unholy war
I would be behind him
Straight shook up beside him
With strength he didn't know
It's you I'm fighting for
He can't lose with me in tow
I refuse to let him go
At his side and drunk on pride
We wait for the blow

We put it in writing
But who you writing for
Just us on kitchen floor
Justice done,
Reciting my stomach standing still
Like you're reading my will
He still stands in spite of what his scars say
I'll battle till this bitter finale
Just me, my dignity and this guitar case

Yes my man is fighting some unholy war
And I will stand beside you
Who you fighting for
B - I would have died too
I'd of liked to
If my man was fighting
Some unholy war
If my man was fighting

So....

Party was great
One of my Lovers was nearby
Seemed distant.
But could be.. because he,

were on watch.
But alas,
I prevailed.

matching stilettos.
Looking ab fab for sure.
We hugged.
No flashing lights.
I continued celebrating
at his suggestion...
Little did he know,
they were already planned for my bed.
Now...
hours later..
2 bodies intertwined
in my bed
while I think of him
and the mischief I caused.
What a night.
